Eucalyptus botryoides - Bangalay

Usually has a short trunk and spreading crown, bark crumbly rough and reddish on trunk, upper branches smooth and orange, cream or grey. Grows in sandy soils by the coast and will tolerate salt well. This tree only rarely occurs naturally here, most local trees were planted.Flowers in Autumn.
